Kung Fu Panda

21st June

After one week of showing in the cinema, finally I have the chance to watch Kung Fu Panda during my off day. Before I watched, I already heard many people said that Kung Fu Panda is very funny and nice. They are true.

Po, the Panda in the animation was so cute! I like it so much. He is fat and cute. He likes to eat a lot. That is the motivation for him to learn kung fu in the end.

For those who not yet watch this movie, try to take some time to go to the cinema and watch it. You will not regret!

Oh, this animation comes with English and Cantonese version. The one I watched is English version. I would like to watch the Cantonese version since it has my idol, Eason Chan’s voice! Hehe. Cantonese version only show in some of the cinema. In Penang, it’s showed in Gurney Plaza.

Synopsis:
The lazy and irreverent panda, Po (voiced by Jack Black), must somehow become a kungfu master in order to save the Valley of Peace from a villainous snow leopard, Tai Lung. Set in the legendary world of ancient China, this is the story of Po, our unlikely hero, who enters the rigid world of kungfu and turns it upside down. Po ultimately becomes a hero by learning that if he believes in himself, he can do anything.

The Happening

15th June

If you have watched The Sixth Sense, The Sign and Lady In The Water, I’m sure you will be like me, waiting for the latest movie The Happening, directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

The Happening has a very strong message to all the viewers. We need to take good care of our environment and the most important, our mother Earth. We have polluted our environment so badly and caused so many issues, such as global warming. If we keep on doing the bad things to the mother Earth, IT will revenge to the mankind one day.

I like the movie though. :)

Synopsis:
“The Happening” is a paranoid thriller about a teacher, Elliott Moore (Mark Wahlberg), who takes his family on the run, in an attempt to survive a natural global environmental crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity. This film portrays the earth as being a victim of mankind’s doings, which causes a global backlash. An invisible neurotoxin is admitted into the air that causes people to become suicidal.
